    1. When I read today’s young people complaining about dating, I realize that what’s going on in this photo is a lost art. And that makes me sad.

      This current crop of teens and twenties must be the first young generation in at least a century that is more cautious and uptight than their parents and grandparents.

    3. I saw the same tour in Tucson at Arizona Stadium, 1977. If I recall correctly, Marshall Tucker opened.

    4. The kid in the white hat is seven and works night shift at the steel mill. The guy behind him is thirteen and going to trade school on the GI bill he received for his two tours in Vietnam. Just regular guys in the 1970’s.
